Allen Hall Advertising

What did I do?

At Allen Hall Advertising, the University of Oregon’s full-service student-run agency, I served as a Project Manager overseeing two client accounts: the Oregon Innovation Challenge (OIC) and Preventing and Ending Mass Atrocities (PAEMA). I led both teams through the full campaign cycle, from research and strategy development to creative execution and final delivery, ensuring that each project stayed on schedule, within budget, and exceeded client expectations.

The Oregon Innovation Challenge became one of the top-performing accounts of the 2023 to 2024 academic year. Our campaign success earned us the opportunity to present in front of Tim Boyle, CEO of Columbia Sportswear, which was a major highlight of the program and a testament to our strategic impact and client satisfaction.

Throughout the year, I maintained strong client relationships by facilitating weekly meetings, ensuring alignment between goals and deliverables, and proactively solving problems to keep work moving forward. I also implemented a project tracking system to improve workflow and communication across creative, media, and strategy teams.

From prioritizing tasks to guiding campaign brainstorms and leading client presentations, I worked to keep our team motivated, organized, and focused. I managed budgets, optimized resource use, and continuously looked for ways to elevate the work while maintaining efficiency. This role sharpened my leadership, strategic planning, and communication skills and gave me a deep understanding of what it takes to run high-level campaigns for real clients.

Hear it from the client as well!

“Will and his team did absolutely exceptional work with us this year.

From brand strategy to social media to graphic design to in-person activations, they crushed it all.

I cannot recommend Will highly enough. He was a critical leader—dependable, inspiring, and just fun to be around. 10/10.”
